Your Content Repurpose Skill
Turn any long-form content into a full suite of platform-ready assets — in minutes, in your voice, every time.
One skill. Every format.Getting started
Install in four steps
You only need to do this once. After that, just paste your content and say "repurpose this."
Install the skill file
Download the podcast-repurpose.skill file from the Cozy Business Quest resource library. Go to claude.ai, click your profile picture, then Settings. In the left menu click Skills, then Install skill, and upload the file.
Note — Skills require Code Execution to be enabled. Go to Settings → Feature Previews and turn on Code Execution first, then Skills.
Create your brand config file
This is what makes the skill truly yours. Create a plain text file called brand-config.md and fill in your details — your name, audience, voice, platforms, and the exact output bundle you want every time. The template is below.
The more specific you are here, the less editing you'll do on the outputs.
Add it to a Claude Project
In Claude, click Projects in the left sidebar and create a project for your content work (e.g. "Content Repurposing"). Inside the project, click Add content and upload your brand-config.md file. Claude reads it automatically from now on — no repeating yourself.
Paste and repurpose
Open your project, paste in your transcript or article, and type: "Repurpose this." Claude reads your brand config, identifies the content format, and produces your full asset suite.
Your setup
Brand config template
Copy this, fill it in, and save it as brand-config.md. Delete any sections that don't apply to you. This file does the heavy lifting so you never have to repeat your preferences.
Tip: You can also paste 2-3 examples of your own writing at the bottom of your brand config. Claude uses them to match your exact tone far more precisely than a description alone.
What you get
The default output bundle
Every number in this table is adjustable in your brand config. Remove anything you don't use. Add extras like Substack Notes or LinkedIn posts. Make it match your actual workflow.
| Asset | Default | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Titles | 2 | One for your main platform (podcast/YouTube/blog), one alternate or SEO variant |
| Content description | 1 | Episode description, blog meta summary, or newsletter preview — adapted to your format |
| Long pull quotes | 4 | 2-4 sentence verbatim quotes for show notes, website, or longer posts |
| Short quote graphics | 6 | Punchy 1-2 line quotes for graphics, story overlays, or pull-quote highlights |
| Promotional carousel | 3 slides | Hook, what they'll get, CTA — to post when your content goes live |
| Teaching carousel | 5 slides | Standalone educational carousel drawn from the piece's best insight |
| Instagram/Facebook Stories | 3 slides | Minimal-text story sequence with a clear swipe/tap CTA |
| 1 | Story-first email with subject line, preview text, and CTA to your content | |
| Social captions | 3 | Standalone captions for feed posts, each covering a different theme |
| Platform extras | 0 | Add Substack Notes, LinkedIn posts, Pinterest descriptions — just list them in your config |
Smart adaptation
It adapts to your format
The skill detects whether your content is spoken or written and adjusts every output accordingly. A Substack writer and a podcaster get a completely different experience from the same skill.
Podcast / Video
Transcript input
Timecodes noted on quotes. CTAs say "listen now" or "watch now". For guest episodes, quotes are pulled from the guest only — not the host. Solo episodes pull from you.
Blog / Substack
Written content input
No timecodes. Quotes lifted directly from your text. Description becomes a meta summary or teaser blurb. CTA says "read now" or "link in bio."
Newsletter
Email content input
Description becomes a preview or teaser line. Email CTA adapted to match. Social captions draw from your newsletter's core idea rather than a specific episode.
Any other format
Webinar, live stream, essay
The skill reads the content, identifies the format from context, and adapts. If anything is ambiguous, it asks before producing output — not after.
Flexibility
Adjusting for any individual piece
Your brand config sets your defaults. But you can override anything for a specific piece just by saying so when you paste your content in.
The skill follows your session instruction over the default. You're always in control of the output.
