We’re redefining what it means to be a business. We embrace a cozy ethos that considers business a creative pursuit, a personal journey, and a greater purpose that impacts the lives of others. 

The Cozy business framework is not a one-size fits all approach, but an understanding that each business owner has their own strengths, needs, and desires that require nuance and strategy to suit them – not trying to push people into methods or strategies that are popular.

We also value people over profits, challenging the conditioning and values of capitalism. We reject practices like income-claim marketing, exponential growth, hierarchical systems, manipulative sales tactics, scarcity, and undervaluing others’ time. Instead, we prioritise creating a community-focused, inclusive space where everyone’s voices are heard and valued.

Our foundation is built on empathy and compassion, recognising the messiness of human existence with its various layers of conditioning, circumstances, and identities. We believe in the power of curiosity as a driving force for continuous learning and growth, whilst also understanding that somebody else’s lived experience may differ from our own, especially if they hold marginalised identities.

Integrity is our guiding principle, ensuring that every action aligns with our values. We infuse joy and fun into our work, understanding that business is not just a transaction but a creative, experimental, and heart-centred journey.

Whilst our cozy business journey may be as a solopreneur, we recognise the importance of community and deconstructing individualism. We believe in staying in our own lane and within the realm of our experience, qualifications, and strengths knowing, at any time, we can collaborate and hire others with different skills and expertise – with a commitment to always compensating them generously.

It is within our community that we have the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with our peers, elders, and experiences that are unique to our own.

Our commitment to accessibility and people over profits also means having fair payment plans, many low priced offers, and providing accomodations for clients, community members, and participants as required. 

This is why my Cozy Business Common Room community is open to any past clients, members, or customers without ongoing payment and I wide range of price points and options for people to support them where they are at. This is also why I create and share a lot of high value, free content.

Through introspection, we cultivate self-awareness and self leadership, finding peace and solitude amidst the noise of the world. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we believe in nurturing our well-being, respecting our strengths, needs, and energy, understanding that these may vary for each person in our community.

Furthermore, we aspire to lead by example, striving to leave the world a better place than we found it. As quiet impact advocates, we support social, environmental, and other causes without the need to center ourselves or be at the forefront of a movement. Our actions speak louder than words, and we embrace the responsibility to effect positive change in a humble and impactful way. We know that, as sensitive souls, this can sometimes feel hard but that it is our responsibility to take care of ourselves so that we can show up and advocate for others.
