Have you noticed it? Something in the air?
It’s as though, with the change of seasons, something huge has suddenly come into play.
Whilst it hasn’t revealed itself yet, there is a definite vibe of ‘change is coming’ out there in the ether, far beyond my comprehension.
Right now I can name about five women I know (including me) who have finally managed to step away from the traditional idea of a ‘job’ in order to live a much deeper purpose. To follow their dreams. To help others. To embrace that knowing feeling that something bigger is in store for them.
It is inexplicably exciting.
In January, I’m told there was some sort of planetary retrograde going on. Before I even knew this, I was aware that something wasn’t quite right. My usual fresh year excitement and planning was heavily disrupted by a lack of motivation, a huge feel of resistance, and more technical issues than I can believe.
And then I noticed LOTS of people complaining of similar ailments.
The year started off at a sluggish pace, a major inconvenience for everyone – especially those with big plans for the year.
I’m talking a crap load of things:
+ For the first time in a LONG time, I was having trouble getting to sleep – but with no real explanation.
+ My skin has been a total mess – break outs, eczema that I haven’t had in years, the works! I just felt flat.
+ Being grumpy far too often.
+ Not being able to write (one of my favourite things to do)
+ Shying away from getting out and about and being social.
It started to make me doubt what I was doing, where I was going, if I was even heading in the right direction.
And then, recently, something changed.
It could be because I finished up a contract and finally feel FREE (something I’ve been longing for indefinitely), maybe it’s the sudden cool breeze in the air as Sydney welcomes Autumn, maybe it’s a combination of things all suddenly clicking into place.
I don’t know about you, but I’m SO excited to feel something in the air that’s saying, the low energy of the past few months has finally passed. Even though it is already March, I feel the renewed energy that I usually associate with starting a new year.
I feel alive.
I feel free for the first time in my life.
And I feel like big things are coming for all of us who dare to dream – I’m talking about you and me here!
Can you feel it too?
If you feel it and you’re not entirely sure what to do with this vibrant energy, here are some great ways to make use of it:
+ Get out and about and try something new that you’re drawn to. It could be an event, a new class you’ve never tried, or something that keeps popping up in your life just begging you to give it a go.
+ Connecting with like minded people who you can share your energy with. The only thing better than having this electric energy around you is the power of combining it with someone else’s energy. Whoa, it’s so magical you will almost be able to touch it!
+ Experiment with energy work. I’ve been working with a kinesiologist for about a year now and I can’t explain to you how dynamic this is. I’ve also been introduced to reiki lately and, although uncertain at first, the more I learn about and try it, the more I get from it. Spine tingling stuff (literally!)
+ Jump in and do something you’ve been too scared to do. It might be launching your new business or website, changing your job, asking someone out, contacting someone you want to connect with, taking on a new challenge, or stepping up and speaking in front of a huge audience. Take whatever is in the air right now and make it work for you by giving you the motivation to put yourself out there and see what you get back in return.
Everyone I have seen who is harnessing this brilliant energy force is taking leaps they might have been too scared to take earlier in the year and having the most incredible results.
I’m talking spine tingling, can’t-get-this-grin-off-my-face kinda stuff.
I don’t feel scared any more, when last year I wasn’t quite ready to let go.
Have you picked up on the energy right now? Or do you want to harness some of your own? Leave a comment below and let’s celebrate and soak it up!
