Reading Time: ( Word Count: )

You might have noticed the little heart in my menu bar that doesn’t actually lead anywhere.

What’s coming soon is a collection of things I love from all over the place that have really touched my life in some way or another.

Everyone has different resources that totally float their boat, and I plan to share with you some of my BEST OF RESOURCES so stay tuned and I’ll let you know when it’s ready to go!

In the meantime, there has been some super awesome stuff kicking around the Internet lately and I thought I’d share my faves with you!

Watching:

This Ted talk by Amy Cuddy on body language is one of my favourites lately. It’s a good 20 minutes, and it’s worth it (because it’s awesome but also because of around the 16 minute mark). You’ll thank me after your next job interview!

In case you didn’t notice from my post earlier in the week, but I’ve been reading The Firestarter Sessions by Danielle Laporte. Danielle’s been on my radar for a while now but it wasn’t until I saw her live in Sydney last month that I truly realised how extraordinary she is. This book is no exception. Well written but fun, grounded but full of lofty ambitions. A must read for anyone looking to ignite a little spark in their life.

Working:

downloadMy gorgeous friend, Jade of Eventhead, just released her Ultimate Event Toolkit. Firstly, yes, I’m only friends with ridiculously good looking people and, secondly, if you ever plan on holding any kind of event EVER, you need this in your life. Also, Jade is so lovely she also offers event coaching and the Fully Monty of event management. She single handedly has you and your event covered. And she’s a total gem. Get her toolkit here and step into your spotlight (as Jade would say).

And, thanks in a huge way to Jade for her incredible support with my first SOLD OUT event. I can’t believe how quickly the tickets were snapped up and I look forward to connecting with some beautiful ladies next weekend. If you’re sad you missed out, I have some exciting things on their way for those in the Sydney area, so get on the events list and be among the first to find out about the next event: http://eepurl.com/UXZkr

Attending:

lylOn the subject of events, I recently discovered Live Your Legend Local, a group committed to connecting inspiring and likeminded people from the local community. I loved meeting some new people at this month’s event and am both honoured and a little nervous to be speaking at the July meet up.

What a great idea and an amazing opportunity for people to get together and share inspiration. I’ll be talking about what to do when you realise you need to change direction, stat. You can find out more details here.

What’s on your list of loves this week? Let me know below so I can check them out!

I am SO glad you shared that TED talk from Amy Cuddy. My capstone professor shared it in class this past January when my cohort and I began student teaching (and the job search…), and I had forgotten about it until this week. I was going to start looking for it, but you’ve saved me the trouble! That video is exactly the bit of courage I need for the job interview I have this week for a teaching position that I would love, love, love to have…fingers crossed!
